Things have just gotten so much better for me lately. I've moved groups, my car's paid off, I've lost a lot of stress from work, and things are just going good. And most importantly to the context of our meeting here today, religion is completely gone. Not a single human being on Earth believes in any of the nonsense that has plagued our civilization for thousands of years. so i guess that explains why star trek exists in a world with absolutely no diversity of culture whatsoever? GOOD TO KNOW. THE WORLD IS NOT A JOHN LENNON SONG. OR THE BORG. - And while we're at it, and this isn't cm now, but she thought it would be fun to have us both frothing and angry in one post, so ( let's harsh some White Collar squee. ) ...got a little carried away there at the end. [04 Nov 2009|07:13pm] mumblemutter certain heroes rumors have made me go o.o. and it's a new fandom too, but like the co-journaller said, it's not like we've not, as usual, made our very own fandom of two where we do nothing but write chat-fic where Nathan is the operations manager for a strip-mall and Peter runs an organic hair care shop and they are in love. or the one where they're criminals planning a heist. but also in love! and then every other heroes character that we love but in canon is already dead is in there well, so again: it really makes no difference. except where it does. a little, perhaps? co-journaller isn't even watching the show anymore. i'm only watching because being unemployed means i have nothing but time and i don't want to give up shows seeing as how i'm already having a hard time finding ways to make the hours go by. but also it's insulting, personally, to me, that sylar still lives. also that he continues to live gets in the way of my Star Trek love, because i have to look at Zach Quinto's face and think "urgh, sylar", and that's never good, because Star Trek is so much bigger and more awesome than Zach Quinto will ever hope to be. i leave you with this: ( co-journaller: DAMMIT DUDE I WANT A FLUFFY AU WHERE THEY WORK IN A MALL ) 2 take it slowly just to make the good parts last

[04 Nov 2009|12:53pm] mumblemutter i didn't sign up for nanowrimo because, well, there's no point. i will never, for the life of me, be able to finish a 50,000 word anything. although! the first time i signed up i started writing a zombie!vampire!urban!Interpol AU in which daniel was an underaged slave (clearly), paul was a pimp (clearly!), carlos was a cross-dressing hooker (ha!) and sam was also a hooker. i can't recall. featuring frank iero as the cutest john that ever lived and brit brit as a vampire hunter. or zombie killer. i can't recall, but she was bad-ass. i never even came close to finishing it. why would you post a kirk/uhura fic with the disclaimer "not for uhura fans. probably not for kirk fans either." because you only want people who dislike the characters to read a fic...about said characters? bizarre. cm 5 take it slowly just to make the good parts last
